I must admit, I am off to a very rocky start with eating right. I didn’t go too overboard with my meals but they weren’t that wholesome either.
Saturday:
A Kale Smoothie
Pho (Vietnamese soup. It was chicken noodle ^_^)
This is where the slippery slope started….
I went to an event where they served alcohol. I indulged…and continued to the rest of the evening.
My final meal of the night were homemade chicken soft tacos. Everything grilled, fresh, and healthy.
Sunday (today)
I started my day with water and an apple.
I had a vegetarian burrito bowl from Chipotle. Brown Rice, Black Beans, Peppers, mild salsa, corn, cheese, and guac and lettuce. It’s going to take me some time to not have rice or cheese but..baby steps XD, Baby steps…
Right now I’m eating an apple. I’ll probably have oatmeal later while I’m here at work and that will be hearty enough to get me through the evening.

This is the first post of a new journey. A journey on health, fitness, and getting to happy. We all have our demons: whether it be food, alcohol, sex, drugs….we all have them. Doesn’t make us necessarily a bad person, but it is how we deal with them that makes us, defines us, and sets us up to be better people. That’s what this is about. Me being better. Hopefully I can inspire others to do the same. I’ll fill this with a daily journal of my food intake, exercise regimens, health blogs, tips, and just feel good wisdom that helps me when I’m feeling low and wanting to grab a cake. Note: I did not say just a slice. =)
It’s not going to be easy, but I have faith that this will be the best thing I could have ever done in getting and inspiring me…to be an even higher me.
